Bringing up an SME – the challenge

The Small and Medium Businesses face problems in every stage of their business. Small and medium businesses are very critical for economy development. It’s considered as the backbone of the national economy. Since SME’s play a pivotal role in the economy, they are given importance by the Government. But their needs are not fulfilled completely, they still face issues and obstacles in bringing up their business. All the SME’s face common problems. Some face legal issues, some face raw materials manufacturing issues, and some gets budged by the government norms as they are not well aware of it. The SME’s main issue is lack of Knowledge.  The SME thinking should change from an industry based economy to a knowledgebase one. The focus should be on getting educated on all the norms and policies so that they could function smoothly.

In order to strengthen the SME’s and to provide them adequate knowledge and resources, KSMBOA is formed. Karnataka Small & Medium Business Owner’s Association.
